Cardboard Automata Workshop
I worked alongside two creative technologists and educators, Celeste Moreno and Mariana Tamashiro, to design and develop a drop-in automata workshop for the Museum of Boulder. The workshop encouraged participants (ages 7-9) to explore the mechanics of motion using laser cut cardboard gears and cams along with simple craft materials. Participants were also able to design and test their own gears using the Glowforge available in the museum's maker space.
